About Service Saturday
Students at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee have the opportunity to get out in the community, help others and meet fellow Bulls through monthly Service Saturday events. Service Saturdays are held during the fall and spring semesters and take place at a different community agency every month.
Agencies We’ve Worked with in the Past:
- All Faith’s Food Bank
- Family Promise
- Elmira’s Wildlife Sanctuary
- More Too Life
- Cat Depot
- Robert L. Taylor Community Complex
- Safe Place 2B
- Easter Seals of Southwest Florida
If your organization has a service project that you would like Service Saturday to be a part of, please contact the Coordinator of Student Organizations & Leadership.
This is an excellent way to gain service hours while learning more about the needs of Sarasota and Manatee Counties. Service sites will be announced and registration will open on OrgSync the Monday before each Service Saturday event. Each participant will receive a Service Saturday t-shirt!
