The 2020 USF Sarasota-Manatee Student Showcase for Projects, Research, and Innovation will be held on Friday, April 3, in Selby Auditorium. The Showcase is an excellent opportunity for currently enrolled USFSM students to present academic work, learn from peers and network with USFSM faculty and staff as well as community representatives.
Academic projects, research experiments, innovative ideas, or visual/performing arts projects (music, drama, dance) from any USFSM college (CLASS/SOE, CSM, COB, CHTL) are eligible for consideration. Undergraduate and graduate students from all USFSM majors are encouraged to apply. Team projects are also welcome.
Applying to present at the Showcase is a two-step process:
- By Friday, Feb. 7, students who hope to present should send a short note to firstname.lastname@example.org to notify the event committee that they intend to submit an abstract.
- Abstract submission opens on Monday, Feb. 10, and runs for two weeks. Please note that every project needs a USFSM faculty mentor.
Other important dates as well as eligibility requirements can be found by visiting http://usfsm.edu/research/student-showcase/index.aspx. Use the “Submissions & Guidelines” tab to find instructions, templates, and judging rubrics from past events. Please note that the link for abstract submission will not go live until Monday, Feb. 10.
